Kitchen Tips from your Apartments in West Houston
If you don’t have a go-to wing restaurant near your apartments in West Houston, we think we can change that. There are a lot of awesome wing joints in the neighborhood, and although the competition is high when it comes to wings in Houston, the restaurants in our part of town are up to the challenge.
A good chicken wing restaurant needs to meet a couple criteria. It needs to serve large portions, have friendly staff members and if you’re lucky, a couple big screen TVs where you can watch the game. The restaurants on this list meet those criteria in their own ways, and we want to share them with our residents!
Without further delay, let’s check out the list below! When you’re done reading this week’s blog, please be sure to share the link to this post with your friends and neighbors Alexan CityCentre — the Energy Corridor apartments Houston residents choose for upscale comfort.
No matter what kind of wings you order from Lotus Seafood, make sure you get some of their housemade crack sauce on the side. The sauce is buttery, flavorful and downright delicious. This place is laid back, the staff is known to be super personable, and you can get 20 wings for $12.99!
Everyone raves about the flavorful menu options at Lotus Seafood, so give them a try next time you’re in the Westchase area! If you’re with someone who doesn’t eat wings, tell them to try the crab legs or shrimp — both are known to be just as good as the chicken wings.
The sweet and spicy wings are tangy and crunchy, but we have to highly recommend the soy garlic wings above all else. All the wings at Hoodadak are big and chunky, and although it takes a little while for the wings to come out, we think they’re worth it. The spicy fried chicken wings are some of the hottest wings in the area, so you’ve got to give those a shot if you’re into spicy food. Hoodadak is pretty good about posting coupons on Groupon, so check there before you visit this wing joint!
Most restaurants on this list are known for having big, juicy, perfectly-seasoned wings. While Lucky’s does have those they’re on this list because of their awesome selection of TVs and games on those TVs. Any wing joints worth their salt should have tons of TVs all over the walls, and Lucky’s Pub doesn’t have an obstructed view in the house. The service is fast, the waiters are friendly, and this bar has a nice selection of cold beers on tap.
If you need a place to watch the NBA playoffs or the beginning of the MLB season, this is the spot. We just hope that the Astros and Rockets give you plenty of good games to watch at Lucky’s all month long!
With that, we’ve reached the end of our list of wing restaurants. Thanks for reading the latest post, residents!
